Agents got faster.
Supervision did not.

DevRails runs the engineering system around your coding agents — from an objective, through decisions and a costed plan, to a validated release. You supervise outcomes, not prompts.

Works with Claude Code, Codex, GitHub, Jira and your existing CI/CD. Run it yourself for free.

Six stages of feature engineering

Every feature follows a predictable lifecycle. Click through the stages below to see how the DevRails workspace manages the work from start to finish.

groom

The objective becomes decisions, not a backlog of guesses.

An architect agent interrogates the ask and groups its open questions by area. You answer the ones that matter — one at a time, with the options and a recommendation — and every answer is recorded as a decision with its rationale.

Work starts before grooming finishes: reading the existing product is already a task, with its own agent.

Why it is worth having
Ambiguity gets resolved once, in the open, instead of silently and differently by twelve agents.

Why DevRails

Four things break when agents go concurrent. They are coordination problems.

One person cannot hold twelve agents in their head.

Coding agents now make substantial changes, run for hours, use subagents and work concurrently. Whether AI can write the code stopped being the question. Whether an organisation can direct and account for that work did not.

Intent decays on the way down: the objective is clear to whoever wrote it and progressively less clear to each agent below them. By task nine, nobody is checking against the original ask.

What DevRails takes over

The objective, the decisions and their rationale, the decomposition into tasks, who is working on what, what was independently verified, what it cost, and what shipped.

Coding agents own tasks. DevRails owns the outcome.

Run twelve agents like one engineering team.

Bring your agents. We will run the engineering system around them — from intent to production.
